Aluminum extrusion:
Solid aluminum bars are heated to a softened state and then extruded through a die under high pressure in an extrusion press, without melting the metal.
Extrusion involves heating and pressurizing solid aluminum rods and then shaping them through a die. It is suitable for producing profiles with a consistent cross-section (such as door and window frames profile).
It offers high tensile strength (due to significant processing deformation) and is suitable for applications in electrical appliances, industrial hold frame, construction, transportation, etc.
The common extrusion materials alloys include 6063 and 6061.
